YOU'RE DONE!!!!!!!

You didn't think it would happen, did you? Nor did I. This hack needs refinement and a nice fancy package for Mambo and hopefully that will come. Until then, well here you are. If you have any questions or suggestions, please use the Comments link at the bottom of the page. Cool, ain't it?

Still To Do (maybe):

• When item is trashed, comment post stays. Link from post still takes you back to trashed article. (this is because trashing it in Mambo doesn't delete it, it just deletes the links to it. PhpBB topic still remains and a direct link will find it.
• Permission levels for articles are not respected in the forum. Restricted content in Mambo WILL SHOW UP TO UNREGISTERED PHPBB USERS!!! This isn't a problem for me, but it could be for you.
• I chose to insert the entire page (intro and main text, but only the first page displayed in multi-page articles, like this one) in the forum, not just the intro. This should be an easy option to pick from. For now, it's only the whole post. If you write ridiculously long things like this, it could be a problem. For now, i just edit the post after the fact in PhpBB.
• Only the individual posts have comments. If titles aren't linked and you have no Main Text, there is no easy way to get to the comment link.
• Make the read more link include how many comments. This should be tough.
• Get some sleep.

Again, if you have any improvements, please post them!!! The same goes for suggestions, security concerns, problems, wishes of ill will, job offers, etc. This will only get better with feedback. That being said, I currently have a job that takes up well too much of my time, but at least it's joyless. As such, I may not be able to respond until the afternoon / evening of the North Carolina, USA.
