And so ends my ridiculously short time on the unemployment dole. Amber, my lovely girlfriend and I have both acquired jobs working for Cumulus Broadcasting in Fayetteville, NC. Yes. That's Fayetteville, NC. Market #128 is located about one hour south of Raleigh, NC and two hours northwest of Myrtle Beach, SC. This means I will stay in the Eastern Time Zone, so thankfully I will still get to enjoy Monday Night Football games that end well after midnight. Good times.

As for the jobs, Amber will be doing middays at Q98, a Hot AC that's killing in town. It has an 8.5 share 12+ and is in third place. She is walking into a great situation.

As for me, I will be doing a little bit of everything for now. Some production, on-air, web design et cetera. In addition, they are very excited to find a more full-time position for me. Stay tuned.

As a result, Amber and I will be moving to Fayetteville in about a week. Rest assured, chrisboylan.com will remain your number one place to go for Chris Boylan related news. However, for now, it has to take a break as I have pulled something nasty in my back/neck area and am hopped up on pain killers and muscle relaxers. Hopefully I'll be able to actually hold my head up by tomorrow (which I can't do today). So, it's back to the couch for me.

I've always been a John Fox fan from his days as a Giant D coordinator. He should be the Giants head coach now, and if the Giants didn't go to the Super Bowl in 2001, Fassell would have been fired and Fox would have been given the job.
Still, I was born and raised a Big Blue fan, and so I shall remain. But as long as the Panthers don't face the G-men, I'm pulling for them.
