We're right in the middle of a non-stop commercial free block of 3 months of your favorite summer weather! The forecast for the next month is Hot and Humid, with a chance of a thunderstorm in the afternoon, High of 95. Who needs weathermen when you can just repeat yesterday's forecast?

The irony, however, is that I have apparently caught some sort of cold, leaving me with a sweet post-nasal drip and a sore throat. It's remarkably similar to what I had about a month ago, but a little worse. I think the lesson is that I need more sleep.

In show news, Wednesday's show was rocking the hiz-zouse - for about five minutes, I was taking the hammer to Michael Jackson (yes, sometimes I'm a bit edgy) leaving Tracy and the two observers in the studio in tears. For that, I thank the one, the ONLY Brian Whitman, whose Michael Jackson imitation I completely stole and butchered. He is so good that even a bad imitation of Brian is funny.

Needless to say, I was going to put up a taste of the audio goodness, but unfortunately, the cassette player stopped working, we were out of MiniDiscs, and the computer skimmer was malfunctioning. So, you know, good times! Yes, the bit, which extended to quite the hour, was sacrificed to the radio gods. The good news is that the bosses heard it and were quite impressed. GO EMPLOYMENT!!!

Now, to sleep - perchance to dream. Ay, there's the rub.

P.S. How unfair is it that Ken Jennings (Super Jeopardy Guy) is so much more familiar with proper buzzing technique than everyone else. I've seen contestants that know as much as he does, but fall short because they haven't had 36 episodes to master when you can buzz in. I mean, in terms of knowing answers, I could take him 2 to 3 out of 5 times. However, he would out-buzz me, rendering that knowledge useless. Damn you, Ken Jennings!!! I'll still be watching, however.
