It&rsquo;s not confirmed, but in one test with joomla at /joomla/ and forum at /forum/, the <acronym title="Uniform Resource Locator">URL</acronym> created for the post to link back to the article doubled up the /joomla/ directory.  
</p>

Example:  url would be <a href="http://example.com/joomla/joomla/index.php?blah=blah" class="urlextern" title="http://example.com/joomla/joomla/index.php?blah=blah">http://example.com/joomla/joomla/index.php?blah=blah</a>
</p>

<p>
both baseuri and JRoute have the directory as part of their string.<br />

<del>I cannot reproduce this bug in a reliable fashion.  It may only occur when a lot of threads are created near simultaneously, which may trigger some anti-spam features of phpBB.  </del>
</p>

I think I&rsquo;ve found a solution here:  please test the solution in Comment #2.<br />

Make sure that there is a trailing slash at the end of phpBB root path and if it is missing, add one - that way people can do it either way.<br />

Some comment threads were created when the plugin wasn&rsquo;t working properly and now link to nowhere.  Check comment links for thread existence for every article on site. Then check every thread for the first post - which is messed up on old Movable Type threads.<br />

When a comment thread is first created, there&rsquo;s a phpBB mysql error about empty rows.  The plugin works fine, but this needs to be hunted down and squashed.<br />
