"Amabuddy is a free price checking service. When you are at a store, call 888-WE SIGNAL, enter the ISBN code (above the barcode), and an automated voice will tell you the current price on Amazon. Next time you are at a computer, go to the site, enter your number and it will take you directly to amazon for purchase."
That's cool. So you now know even at the store what you could be paying online. Plus you can find the price of a book you find at the library too.

As you can see, the fabulous staff at ChrisBoylan.com
has added a new staff member, my sister, Deirdre. As she gets
more acquainted with Mambo there should be all sorts of fanciness.
Check out her first story.
You'll see that it includes the newly installed Gallery link, a feature
I have been waiting years for. Now all pictures in the gallery
can be used in stories and linked to. Good times.

Chris made the horrific mistake of giving me passwords and access to his site. For those that don't know me, I'm Deirdre, one of Chris' sisters.
I can say that I have actually talked to Chris on the phone since his last post. So I'm pretty sure he made it back from the beach. Also, Amber has made several posts to her site.
Just wanted to say hi. And give you something to read while you attempt to make your life a little less boring. As a teacher I have the summer off so I read a lot of websites to fill the void that summer brings after spending 9 months with 350 14-18 year old girls.

Amber and I are heading to Myrtle Beach this weekend for some beach fun.
The good news is that I should have a new gallery with three or four dozen new pictures by the end of the weekend.
And a car keys / toilet update. |

So what has Chris been doing the past couple of weeks that has kept him so busy?
This: The New Website of the Fayetteville Swampdogs. You can visit their old one to compare.
The really good news is that it is teaching me even more about how
Mambo works, and has convinced me that the move to Mambo for my site
back in January was the best move since the addition of the forum to
this site. The comical thing is that both moves were done on a lark
with no significant preparation. |
