For long-term readers of the site, you may recognize the name Kevork. Back when I worked on the the Rocky Allen Showgram in it's first go-round in afternoons at WPLJ in New York, Kevork was the man-on-the-street and the holder of the chair that I some day wanted to sit in. Eventually, I kinda did, but in Detroit. You can hear some examples of my street stuff and bits in my audio section. Well, Kevork disappeared for awhile, we think to France, and no one heard from him. Which was funny, because this page of a Kevork hobby on my old site (sort of broken, but still viewable) ended up being the second search result on google for George Guldalian, his real name. Where is he now? On the Food Network, Wednesday January 11th at 10PM...

No, I'm not dead. I'm actually in the final stages of something else I've been working on. Well, more like the final stages of the pre-beginning. But with a little luck, I'll have a link to it in about two weeks. I think it's gonna be pretty damn cool, but nowhere as cool as Pandora. Do you like music? - No. -- Then you're dead. Sorry about that.
- Yes. -- Then you have to check out Pandora.com.
If you don't know what the Musical Genome Project is about, then check out this NPR story. Then go to Pandora.com and enter a few of your favorite bands. Then sit back as the player starts suggesting music you might like. And not just links to buy them, but you get to hear the actual songs streaming on your computer. |

Many people have wondered what the Speed Limit 17 sign to your left means. I'm guessing some haven't even noticed. If you look under the menu to the menu of the page on my 2005 design (I'll probably change it again after awhile -- I also didn't get to make my site all Christmas-y, which is a shame. Hopefully as my free time expands in the next six months, I'll create themes for all different parts of the year.) -- you'll see a "SPEED LIMIT 17" sign. Many people think that I faked it, but it is a real picture that I took from the passenger seat of my 2001 Nissan Altima as Amber and I drove across the country. You can view the original as proof. |

So, I'm a man who used to cut my own hair. Yup. Just took a pair of electric clippers and buzzed it to about 1/4" and then got out the vaccum cleaner. It was satisfying too. If I didn't have my goatee (circle beard, technically) I would no longer get to enjoy the satisfaction of making every hair on my head the some length. It was like mowing a lawn with the same sense of accomplishment. So, I cut my own hair. And then I met Amber. |

While I was totally in love with the concept of My Name is Earl before I heard about it (as well as with the title), I've not been overwhelmed so far. I like the Crabman and Earl's ex-wife, and find it impossible to not have a man-crush on Jason Lee (I would watch him read a phone book, just to see the eyebrow expressions, especially with his awesome porn mustache), but still the show leaves me wanting more. It is certainly no Arrested Development (The best comedy. Ever.)
Nevertheless, I do watch it every week in HD, and was glad to see this picture.

Calm down, it's basically the same as the last one. You affable and occasionally absentee Web dude is now the afternoon personality for Thunder 106.9. I am on from 2 to 7 every afternoon, playing music (some country, some not), taking requests, doing wacky phone calls, and working on three station websites. Good times.
